Bone Density Screening

Grip Strength Testing

Balance and Mobility Testing

Knee/Hip X-rays

Osteopenia and osteoporosis - two silent diseases that increase your risk for dangerous and painful fractures - can be caught early with a bone density screening. Bone density screening is a painless, non-invasive ultrasound of your wrist.

An indicator of muscle strength and your general health, grip strength is measured by squeezing a handheld device and then comparing your score to your peers. Low grip strength can be an indicator of muscle loss, loss of independence, and a higher risk of certain neurologic diseases and falling.

Falls are the leading cause of injury and fractures among adults. Falling once doubles your chances of falling again. We test your balance and mobility by evaluating how you perform simple movements like walking and standing from a seated position.

Nutrition Assessment: Food is Medicine

Food is medicine for many bone and joint conditions and can reduce pain and build stronger bones. A questionnaire and a discussion with the Wellness Center will help you understand your nutritional health and weight management strategies.

Do you suffer from knee or hip arthritis pain? 1 in 4 adults suffer from arthritis. Our portable x-ray machine will quickly and painlessly show degredation of bone and cartilage.

Our Process: Your Care Your Way

What Matters to You?

During the initial one-hour phone call with a Clinical Coordinator we ask,  “What Matters to You?” This conversation helps us understand your goals and priorities, and is the first and most important  step in customizing your treatment plan.

Coordinated Care

Your bone and joint health improves when your overall health improves. Depending on your interests, Clinical Coordinators can assist you in connecting with care for nutritional support, mental health services, and physical activity guidance.

Check-ins & Resources

Between appointments, Clinical Coordinators stay in touch with you to check in on your progress. If you need it, you’ll receive resources that are accessible at home to help you, such as meal planning sheets and activity tracking logs.
